Founded by Robert Kymes, our work combines decades of hands-on construction experience with a deep love for the Coastal Bend community we call home.
From custom renovations to simple repairs, we approach every project with precision and honesty. About the Owner – Robert Kymes
Robert Kymes has spent years working with his hands — building, restoring, and improving homes throughout South Texas. Before launching Kymes Contracting, he worked alongside seasoned contractors (including his step-dad), gaining practical expertise in carpentry, remodeling, and residential systems.
Beyond the toolbox, Robert is deeply engaged in the community. He serves on the Board of Pride Corpus Christi, helping lead initiatives that uplift and celebrate the local LGBTQ+ community. He also serves on the Board of K-Space Contemporary, supporting the region’s thriving arts scene, and is part of the creative team at Hi-Res Media Group (HRMG), where he contributes to digital storytelling, design, and local business development.
